PLANT FITTERFantastic Opportunity for a skilled Plant Fitter to join a big group who are financially stable and constantly progressing.Location of the Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer / Plant Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Engineer: Nuneaton areaSalary for the Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer / Plant Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Engineer: £42,000.00 paHours of work for the Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer / Plant Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Engineer: Monday to Friday days - overtime is availableMy client, a busy, large and constantly evolving Company, are looking for a Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer / Plant Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Engineer to join their team in Nuneaton area. You will be carrying out service and maintenance on fleets of Rail Plant, Machinery as well as specialist Heavy Vehicles and Plant.This is great role for someone with a mechanical, Plant and Auto Electrical background.Duties for the Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer / Plant Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Engineer:Preventative Maintenance and scheduling servicing in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations.Attend machine breakdowns at customer sites and effect repairs to avoid minimum down time.Complete Pre Work Inspections.Troubleshooting any defects on the machines.Carry out all necessary repairs.Carry out installation, repairs and modifications of Safety related systems utilised throughout the Rail and Plant industry.Requirements for the Plant Fitter:Ideally you will be apprentice trained in construction/agricultural plant maintenance, be a time served mechanical fitter.Have a good knowledge and understanding of auto-electrics, engines, transmissions and hydraulics and pneumatics.Ability to diagnose faults on heavy construction equipment, plant and specialist HGV's, as well as carry out repairs as required.Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.UK Driving LicenceApplicants must have excellent organisation and communication skills with a good understanding of health and safety legislation.If this Plant Fitter role sounds like the role for you then please send your CV to Danica Baker at Sprint RecruitmentTPBN1_UKTJ
