Teaching Personnel are seeking confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work across well-regarded secondary schools in Waterlooville and the surrounding areas. This full-time opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience or those considering a future career in teaching.
In this role, you will supervise classes of students aged 11–16 during the absence of the class teacher, ensuring lessons run smoothly and pupils remain engaged with the pre-prepared learning materials. You will help maintain a positive and productive learning environment across a range of subjects and year groups, with occasional opportunities to support students with special educational needs.
To succeed in this role, you should be confident in managing a classroom, flexible in your approach, and able to respond effectively to a variety of situations. Experience working with secondary-aged pupils, including those with additional needs, is beneficial but not essential. Strong communication skills, enthusiasm for supporting young people, and the ability to build positive relationships with students are key qualities for this position.
This is a full-time role with an immediate start, offering competitive daily rates between £100 and £140, depending on experience. You will be working in supportive school environments that value teamwork, professional development, and the contribution of all staff, alongside ongoing guidance and support from Teaching Personnel’s experienced recruitment team.
