Overview
Associate Teacher – Ossett Academy role at Coach Falcon's Fit Bodies. 32.5 hours per week, term time only + 5 inset days. Location: Ossett Academy & Accord Sixth Form, Storrs Hill Road, Ossett, West Yorkshire WF5 0DG. Position type: Permanent. Salary: Scale 5, £21,871 to £23,725 actual salary (Pay Award 2025/2026 inclusive). To Start September 2025.
Ossett Academy is an Ofsted good rated secondary academy with a focus on creating a warm, supportive environment and offering wide opportunities for learning and extra-curricular activities. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking team within the Accord Multi Academy Trust.
Responsibilities
* Provide cover for classes in the absence of teachers across the whole curriculum from Years 7 to 13.
* Create an enriching and orderly environment to support pupil learning.
* Utilise specialist skills to enhance learning and progression in subject areas.
* Support teachers and contribute to a positive learning culture within the academy.
Qualifications
* Qualified to a degree level in a subject area relevant to the curriculum at the Academy.
* This role is suitable for someone looking to gain teaching experience and/or progress to an unqualified teacher role.
Working pattern and salary
Full-time basis, Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 3:15pm, with a half-hour unpaid lunch break per day.
