The Bermuda office of international law firm, Kennedys, is seeking a full-time billing & accounts administrator.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading international law firm where you will work closely with partners, attorneys, and finance colleagues across the firm. The ideal candidate will have legal billing experience and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the management of the Bermuda finance function in conjunction with the Bermuda Office Manager and Kennedys' global finance team
Prepare, review, and finalise client invoices in line with billing schedules and client guidelines
Monitor unbilled time and disbursements to ensure timely and accurate billing
Submit electronic invoices (including LEDES) via e-billing platforms or issue PDF/email invoices
Resolve billing queries, rejections, and adjustments in collaboration with partners and finance teams
Process billing transfers, write-offs, and other adjustments as required
Support collections and respond to client and partner billing enquiries
Maintain accurate client, matter, and rate data within the billing system
Produce billing and status reports for management
Required Experience
Prior professional service billing and e-billing experience
Working knowledge of accounting principles, including accounts receivable
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Experience with Elite 3E is strongly preferred
