They are now seeking a Business Manager for their APIs, Excipients, Intermediates and Fine Chemicals Division. This position will be home based. The geographical territory is the UK and Ireland with regular visits to customers and to their HQ office. This position is a full-time permanent role and will report to the Division Manager.
To create and maintain a profitable and sustainable Business Unit, specifically for Custom Synthesis for Pharmaceutical, Agrochemical and allied markets in the UK and Ireland.
The Business Manager will develop long-term business relationships with Key Customers. The Business Manager will investigate Market Authorisations and capitalise on new opportunities to grow their business unit. 50 Key accounts
Create 30 50 active sales projects
Drive a minimum £550k gross margin for the business unit
Manage existing accounts portfolio
Establish strong, long-term client relationships
Educated to BSc level (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline
Knowledge of the UK and global pharmaceutical pipeline, specifically in APIs, excipients, drug xkybehq delivery systems and formulation markets
Proven experience in a commercial (and ideally technical role as well) in the Chemical Industry
Business acumen to attract and develop new supplier partners
Experience of using CRM software and MS Office
Hold a full driving License
In return, our client is offering a package including a competitive basic salary of up to £65,000 per annum (salary is negotiable and dependent on experience), plus benefits which include bonus, an expensed company car, five weeks holiday, pension and healthcare.
