Position Overview
We are looking for a Regional HR Advisor to join our Heineken contract based in Wakefield, with travel to 8 other sites across the North of England. You will report to the Regional HR Manager and provide generalist HR support to line managers within the region. The role is a key part of delivering the People agenda with a focus on employee engagement, leadership capability and process improvement.
This is a full‑time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Salary up to £37,000.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What You’ll Do on a Typical Day
* Lead on all people processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
* Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks, travelling regularly to stakeholders.
* Build harmonious relationships with the site teams and Trade Union to ensure optimum working efficiency.
* Provide full HR generalist support and advice to managers and employees, maintaining current knowledge of employee legislation and relation issues to keep the business compliant and risk–free, and taking the lead on complex ER issues.
* Take the lead on absence management, including making recommendations, giving advice/coaching and support to managers, liaising with Occupational Health, and supporting health review meetings.
What You Need to Succeed at GXO
* A proven track record in a similar capacity, preferably with exposure to an operational environment such as logistics, production or manufacturing.
* CIPD qualification, level 3 or studying towards it.
* Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR policy/practice and employee relations.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong, long‑standing working relationships.
* The ability to work well under pressure, both independently and as part of a small team.
