Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our client's logistics challenges.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Build relationships with Crane Worldwide’s potential and existing customers.
2. Research different business profiles and become familiar with the Company’s B2B sales.
3. Coordinate with different departments on lead initiatives.
4. Create and Implement strategic sales and marketing plans that successfully achieve business objectives.
5. Monitor competitors’ product, including relevant sales and marketing data.
6. Use available data to accurately forecast sales and set appropriate performance goals with the Operations Manager.
7. Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients, including negotiating and closing on major contracts.
8. Maintain your existing client base and simultaneously prospect for new clients and opportunities.
9. Collects competitive intelligence, analyzes information on market trends and conditions and gauges anticipated demand.
10. Create pricing strategy formulation and takes necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters.
11. Manage total pricing procedure, enhance processes to make most of efficiencies and ensure timely response to market conditions.
12. Evaluate financial impact of price approach in view of overall history as well as profitability of customer.
13. Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

14. Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
15. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
16. Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

17. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present strategy and results to Crane Worldwide’s Senior Leadership and District Directors.
18. Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective clients.
19. Demonstrated skill in negotiating and closing on critical sales contracts and opportunities.
20. Leadership skills with ability to teach and help others professionally
21. Strategic thinking skills with strong business analytic skills
22. Must have very strong computer skills associated with the utilization of Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project
23. Other software skills as needed such as Visio, Access, Outlook etc.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

24. Minimum of seven years of freight forwarding experience with extensive knowledge in Air and Ocean Freight, Domestic Transportation Modes and Logistic Sales.
25. 3 to 5 years of experience supervising or leading small group of employees preferred.
26. High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor Degree strongly preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENCES:

27. Professional certification may be required in some areas.
