An opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Officer supporting the administrative/ business support function within Legal Services. About the Role As a summary, this role will provide support across the different legal areas, which will involve: Provide business support as requested and required, such as processing data (input and retrieval) and individual/team correspondence to support the delivery of the team, this may include practical on the ground support. Act as a point of contact for members of the public, by providing first line triage, and work with other Council departments and external partner organisations to resolve customer queries and deliver a successful customer focused Service. Collate and assimilate information to produce defined documents/reports as requested, including word processing, Excel spreadsheets, or PowerPoint presentations to support service delivery. Maintain manual and electronic systems for the services supported to ensure data Where required and instructed, liaise with external suppliers to place orders, or obtain quotes, check invoices or purchase orders against defined requirements. To arrange and co-ordinate meetings, book appointments, attend meetings, take notes and arrange for their distribution.
