Painter & Decorator (Multi Trader) – Damp & Mould Works

The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator / Multi Trader to carry out damp and mould repair works across social housing properties in Ealing.
You’ll be responsible for preparing and redecorating affected areas, carrying out minor repairs, and completing basic electrical works where required (such as replacing sockets, switches, or light fittings). The work is ongoing, with consistent hours and the opportunity for long-term placements for the right person.
Duties Include:
1. Preparing and redecorating walls and ceilings affected by damp or mould
2. Carrying out minor plaster patch repairs
3. Basic electrical work (sockets, switches, fittings)
4. Minor carpentry and general multi-trade repairs where required
5. Working safely and efficiently in occupied and void properties
6. Delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service
Requirements:
7. Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator / Multi Trader
8. Experience working on damp & mould or social housing maintenance
9. Ability to complete basic electrical repairs (non-qualified level)
10. Own van and tools – essential
11. Full UK driving licence
12. CSCS Card preferred but not essential
Rate & Details:
13. £22.50 per hour
14. Ongoing temporary position
15. Monday–Friday, full-time hours
