We are looking for someone enthusiastic and patient, with a deep understanding of behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties (BESD). As part of our registered independent school, you will plan and deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in line with ESTYN requirements. You will teach small groups of 11–16-year-olds who have been referred to us due to exclusion risks, school phobia, or vulnerability. Job Requirements
* Experience of learners with specific educational needs, i.e. ADHD, Dyslexia
* Delivery and knowledge of designated curriculum area with specific focus on engaging low level ability learners.
* Experience of working with challenging, disengaged learners and challenging inappropriate behaviour
* Experience of providing enrichment and personal growth opportunities to young people with a focus on experiential learning
* PGCE or equivalent
* Have a good and up-to-date knowledge and understanding of a range of teaching, learning and behaviour management strategies and know how to use and adapt them
* Curriculum development
* Appreciation of personal growth and wellbeing.
* Willingness to develop inclusive, experiential learning opportunities.
* Focus on enriching education inside and outside the classroom.
