We aim to create a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment where children can learn, play, and develop with confidence.*The Role*We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Room Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will lead toddler/preschool within the nursery, supporting children’s learning and development while guiding a small team of staff.*Key Responsibilities** Lead the day-to-day running of the room.* Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children’s learning and development.* Supervise and support other nursery staff.* Carry out observations and assessments of children’s progress.* Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment.* Build positive relationships with parents and carers.* Follow all safeguarding, health, and safety policies.*Essential Criteria** Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent).* Minimum 1 year’s experience working as a Room Leader in an early year’s setting.* Strong knowledge of child development and safeguarding.* Good communication and leadership skills.* Ability to work well as part of a team.*Desirable Criteria** Paediatric First Aid training.* Experience mentoring or supporting staff.* Clean drivers License*Safeguarding*Helping Hands Daycare is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
