A friendly and supportive primary school in the BS14 area of Bristol is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time this September.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children—whether your background is in education, childcare, sports coaching, youth work, or similar—and is ready to bring their energy, creativity, and care into the classroom.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
* Providing one-to-one and small group support, ensuring every child stays motivated and makes progress.
* Assisting with the planning and preparation of fun, inspiring activities.
* Helping to create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
* Encouraging pupils’ social and emotional growth, building their independence and confidence.
* Working closely with staff and parents to celebrate and support children’s achievements.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children in any setting (e.g. nursery, youth work, sports coaching, tutoring, etc.).
* A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.
* Patience, adaptability, and the ability to connect with children of all abilities.
* Reliable, proactive, and organised in supporting the needs of the classroom.
* Someone with, or willing to obtain, a valid DBS check.
