We are seeking an experienced Neonatal nurse who is dynamic, enthusiastic, and passionate about education, staff, and service development. We are a Level 2 Neonatal Unit within the Calderdale and Huddersfield Foundation Trust, part of the Yorkshire and Humber Neonatal Network.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support healthcare practitioners in developing clinical patient safety knowledge and skills, achieving competencies.
* Ensure optimal use of resources for clinical education development.
* Act as a clinical expert, role model, and deliver education in various settings, including clinical areas.
* Use a blended learning approach to maximize learning benefits.
* Employ effective assessment, evaluation, and impact measurement of competence in clinical and patient safety education.
We employ over 6,500 staff providing compassionate care across Calderdale Royal Hospital, Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, community sites, health centres, and patients’ homes. We are proud to have nearly 150 volunteers supporting our services.
Our services include urgent and emergency care, medical, surgical, maternity, gynaecology, critical care, children’s and young people's services, end-of-life care, and outpatient and diagnostic imaging.
We also provide community health services, including sexual health services in Calderdale from Calderdale Royal and local health centres such as Todmorden Health Centre and Broad Street Plaza.
