Mazco Recruitment is partnering with a leading precision engineering company in Oxford, renowned for delivering high-quality components to the aerospace, oil & gas, and marine industries. We’re seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator to join their skilled team on a permanent, full-time basis.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Hurco CNC milling machines (3 & 5 axis) using WinMax controls. This is a hands-on role producing one-off and small batch precision components, requiring a high level of skill, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
Key Responsibilities

Program, set and operate Hurco 3 & 5 axis milling machines using WinMax.

Manufacture one-off and small batch precision components to tight tolerances.
*
Work from engineering drawings to produce parts for aerospace, oil & gas, and marine sectors.
*
Conduct in-process inspection to ensure parts meet quality standards.
*
Maintain tooling, fixtures, and machinery to ensure efficient operation.
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator.
*
Proficient with Hurco WinMax programming.
*
Strong understanding of precision machining and tight tolerances.
*
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
*
Experience producing prototype, one-off or small batch work.
Package & Hours
*
£30 – £35 per hour, depending on experience.
*
Day shift: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).
