Overview:
We are currently seeking dedicated and efficientSide Loader Operatorsto join our growing logistics team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the safe and effective loading and unloading of goods, including long and heavy materials such as steel and timber. A validForklift Truck (FLT) licenceis required.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills working with specialistside-loading equipmentin a professional logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Load and unload goods using side loader vehicles, including large and bulky items such as steel, timber, and piping.
2. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other loading equipment.
3. Inspect all incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
4. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
5. Collaborate with drivers and warehouse staff to coordinate efficient loading operations.
