Job Description - The Role
The Governance, Reporting & Oversight Team Lead is an experienced role with responsibility for leading and managing the Governance, Reporting & Oversight team within the Life FCCO function.
Responsibilities
* Management responsibilities: Lead the Governance, Reporting & Oversight team, driving compliance, reporting to senior leadership, and managing escalation of TPA-related financial crime issues.
* Act as the Financial Crime lead for TPA relationships, ensuring contractual adherence, overseeing change agendas, and resolving material issues.
* Build strong collaboration with 1LoD, 2LoD, and supplier management teams to strengthen financial crime risk management and compliance culture.
* Operational activities: Oversee and ensure consistent implementation of Group-wide financial crime policies, governance structures, and reporting frameworks across the Life business.
* Review, approve, and monitor MI requirements and 1LoD reporting to align with regulatory expectations and Group standards, including board-level reporting.
* Represent the business unit at financial crime forums, supporting TPA oversight and governance activities as required.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Significant experience of leading and managing financial crime teams.
* Significant experience within financial crime, including knowledge and understanding of financial crime laws and regulations in the context of the Life business.
* Significant experience overseeing financial crime change management.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels.
