Key Responsibilities of a History Teacher:
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging History lessons across Key Stages.
* Inspire students to develop a strong understanding of historical events, themes, and perspectives.
* Monitor and support student progress, offering clear feedback and personalised guidance.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop a rich and dynamic History curriculum.
Requirements for a History Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching History at secondary level.
* Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for historical studies.
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
