Job Description:
Electrician (Commercial / Industrial Property Maintenance and Repair)required for permanent, full-time role in bristol
* £40,000-£60,000 ( including bonus ) per annum
* Monday – Friday
* Fully expensed company van
* Overtime and shift allowance available
* Bonus paid on circuits tested over 45 daily -£2.70 Per extra circuit
* Saturday and Sunday paid at £3.50 Per extra circuit (The average bonus earned per week across 50 engineers - £450 )
About the role
* Conduct electrical remedial works in commercial and industrial environments.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practices.
* Communicate effectively with clients to explain findings, answer questions, and provide technical advice.
* Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain and enhance technical skills.
* Provide routine maintenance of electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment.
The right candidate
* A minimum of 3 years of experience
* City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrics
* In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Valid UK driving licence
