Main duties of the job

Carry out assessments, develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans for each resident. Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies and legislation. Promote residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care and striving for continuous improvement.

Job responsibilities
Drive the delivery of a truly empathic service, championing resident wellbeing, establishing a vision and development plan for the home, and carrying out quality assurance monitoring to exceed regulatory standards.
About you
* Experienced care home manager with strong leadership skills.
* Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and conducting risk assessments.
* Either a Registered Managers Award Level 4, Leadership & Management in Care Level 4/5, or willingness to study for one.
* Excellent communication skills and a care‑oriented, considerate attitude.
* Full understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and ability to recognise signs of abuse, neglect or harm.
