Overview
My client, a central government department, requires a Lead Interaction Designer who will be responsible for leading a team of Interaction Designers to design services focused on user needs, while working with stakeholders to resource projects and promote a better understanding of design.
Responsibilities
* Working closely with other professional leads, Delivery Managers and Heads of Role.
* Building an inclusive community of practice that enables designers across the portfolio of work to share ideas, best practice and proactively help and support each other.
* Working with senior stakeholders to raise awareness and understanding of the value of user-centred design.
* Line managing, supporting and mentoring a team of Interaction Designers over multiple projects, providing them with guidance, training and constructive feedback.
Qualifications
* Must have prior government experience and understand government design principles and methodologies.
* SC clearance is required.
