As a Cleaning Operative for our prestigious client, you will deliver a world class, high‑quality workplace experience across a high‑profile office environment. As an integral role in maintaining high standards of the office environment, you will provide a range of cleaning services conforming to established process and standards of excellence and support the Facilities Team where required. The position holder is expected to proactively and positively take charge of cleaning services and the assigned responsibilities and tasks, ensuring the client expectations are exceeded in delivery of building cleanliness throughout. Cleaning & Hygiene Standards Maintain cleanliness across all areas of the building Perform general office cleaning (floors, furniture, fixtures, walls, glazing, etc.) Fully clean and restock toilets and shower facilities Ensure high standards in executive and high-priority areas Waste & Environmental Management Manage waste streams (general, recycling, food waste) Transport waste to designated collection points Follow reporting procedures as required Shared Spaces & Facilities Clean kitchenettes, tea points, and communal areas Collect and clean crockery, glassware, and cutlery Load and unload dishwashers Meeting Room Support Clean, tidy, and reset meeting rooms after use Ensure rooms are ready for the next occupants Specialist & Deep Cleaning Carry out periodic and deep cleaning tasks Handle ad hoc and reactive cleaning requests Operational Support Monitor and report any issues or concerns promptly Assist with laundering cleaning materials Follow instructions from management as required Health, Safety & Standards Comply with all health and safety procedures Take responsibility for personal and team safety Promote company and client values Benefits include:- 28 days holiday per year inc Bank Holidays, Employee Assistance Programme.
