Job Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced and reliable Chef to join a well-established, independent café In Ashtead Village. This part-time Chef role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a café kitchen, delivering consistently high-quality breakfast and lunch dishes in a fast-paced but friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure high-quality food production
* Prepare, cook, and present breakfast and lunch dishes to a high standard
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
* Take responsibility for washing and maintaining kitchen equipment during shifts
* Complete end-of-day kitchen close-down to a satisfactory standard

Kitchen & Menu Information
* Breakfast service:
o Weekdays: 8:00am – 12:00pm
o Saturdays: 9:00am – 3:00pm
o Sundays: 9:00am – 2:00pm
* Lunch service runs until 3:00pm on weekdays
Menus are café-style breakfast and lunch offerings.

* Weekdays: 7:15am – 3:30pm

Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar café kitchen role
* Strong food preparation and cooking skills
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
* Hard-working, reliable, and positive attitude
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality
* Passion for cooking and presenting well-executed dishes
