Radis Community Care has an opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to support our services in the East and North East regions. This is a hybrid role requiring regular travel to the services you support and some home working. You will have access to a desk and office facilities at one of our local services. Our current services in the region include Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Lincolnshire, Stoke-on-Trent, North Yorkshire, and Hartlepool.
About the role
The HR Business Partner plays a critical role in working closely with management and employees to provide comprehensive support and deliver a value-added HR service. Responsibilities include:
* Consulting management on HR-related issues and providing policy guidance.
* Advising on employee relations matters, including TUPE transfers.
* Providing guidance to managers and employees promptly and professionally.
* Conducting thorough and objective investigations when needed.
* Implementing HR initiatives aligned with business goals.
* Partnering with leadership to develop organisational strategies.
* Maintaining knowledge of legal requirements to ensure compliance and reduce risks.
* Driving HR initiatives to attract and retain talent.
* Collaborating with managers on resourcing needs and strategic solutions.
* Guiding day-to-day performance management and development of improvement plans.
* Analyzing HR data to diagnose organisational issues and develop solutions.
* Providing advice on pay and remuneration issues.
* Working with HR Shared Services to improve processes and efficiencies.
Skills and Qualifications
Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, conscientious, proactive, and work with integrity. Requirements include:
* At least 2 years of experience in a busy HR department in a similar role.
* CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification.
* Knowledge of HR processes and current UK employment law.
* Experience advising within the care sector is desirable.
* Experience operating in a regional role is a plus but not essential.
* Must have a car for business use and be willing to stay overnight occasionally.
