Set sail on your next adventure with Rapscallions Port Solent We're looking for a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our galley crew. As second-in-command, you'll support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen, keeping everything shipshape, and delivering high-quality dishes that keep our guests coming back for more.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen leadership
* Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to spec and on time
* Training, motivating, and supporting junior chefs
* Maintaining excellent food hygiene, safety, and compliance standards
* Assisting with stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation
* Helping develop specials and seasonal menu ideas
What We're Looking For:
* Strong kitchen background with proven chef experience
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or experienced CDP ready to step up
* A passion for fresh, great-tasting food and an eye for detail
* Leadership skills with a positive, team-first attitude
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Ambition to grow with us as we expand our crew
