What are we looking for in this position?
* Independently conduct standard testing satisfy requirements within the ISO 17025 laboratory.
* Research and build new capabilities to enable differentiated and leading technologies, supporting new product launches and growth.
* Define standard protocols for the execution and documentation of testing.
* Ensure the principles of Good Laboratory Practice Regulations are complied with for designated studies to be responsible for the laboratory equipment and ensure this is used to the highest standard.
* To compile and present test findings, interpretations, and recommendations to different stakeholders across the business.
* To assist with scheduled and ad-hoc duties within the laboratory to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the facility.
* Ensure smooth operation of the laboratory. This includes helping maintain daily aspects including stocking laboratory supplies, media preparation, management of waste and other housekeeping/routine operations within the laboratory.
What will we need you to have?
* This role is essential that it is based in person in our laboratory facility in Peterborough
* Essential - Experience working independently within a laboratory environment and excellent knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental standards and procedures.
* Essential Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role/laboratory environment
* Desirable - Experience working with Microbiology in an industrial setting, with medical device and/or disinfectant testing experience.
* Desirable - Experience and knowledge of working within a GLP/ISO 17025 environment.
