Overview
Job Title: Pharmacist (Part‑time, 30 hours per week). Location: Yeovil. Employment Type: Contract (Permanent). Shift Pattern: 30 hours per week. Salary: Competitive salary plus benefits.
Responsibilities
* Dispense medication and manage store operations.
* Provide NHS and private patient services with excellent communication and empathy.
* Deliver contractual and enhanced services while following company SOPs and professional GPhC guidelines and standards.
* Lead and support the pharmacy team, reviewing performance and engaging with colleagues to drive continuous improvement.
* Report directly to the Pharmacy Practice Manager to support the delivery of agreed KRAs and business targets.
* Provide regular feedback and business updates, and collaborate with regional and home‑office teams for clinical and service support.
Qualifications
* Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
* Accredited to deliver national and local services for the NHS and private healthcare.
* Proven leadership skills in a fast‑paced pharmacy environment.
* Current safeguarding qualifications and a DBS check.
* Valid right to work in the UK and willingness to enrol in the live update service.
Working Rota
* Week1: Saturday 09:00‑21:00; Wednesday 09:00‑21:00; Friday 09:00‑18:00.
* Week2: Wednesday 09:00‑18:00; Thursday 09:00‑21:00; Friday 09:00‑21:00.
