I am seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join a fantastic team based in Portsmouth. The successful candidate will provide vital administrative and secretarial support to conveyancing solicitors, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of residential property transactions. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and draft legal documents, correspondence, and contracts related to residential property transactions.
2. Manage conveyancing case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
3. Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, surveyors, and other relevant parties to facilitate the conveyancing process.
4. Arrange appointments, meetings, and deadlines for conveyancing solicitors.
5. Maintain and update case management systems and track progress of property transactions.
6. Assist solicitors with the preparation and submission of contracts, searches, and other legal documents.
7. Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and post.
