Job Summary
The marketing specialist supports the DSA marketing teams in their strategic efforts by leading and supporting initiatives for key segments, including the crops and chemicals segment and pharma and biotech segments. The role involves providing critical support to expand the team’s capacity to deliver lead generation campaigns, nurture campaigns for conversion, and support closed-won business. A focus on digital marketing is essential to move leads through the customer journey. This position also supports the BD/AM teams with sales enablement tools and marketing support for sales initiatives such as site events. The role is remote within Europe.
Core Tasks And Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, display advertising, and customer feedback surveys based on data analysis and customer behavior insights.
2. Manage the creation and organization of marketing materials, brochures, and web content, supporting company-wide services and coordinating with other marketing team members.
3. Assist with virtual and in-person event projects, including webinars, seminars, workshops, chapter events, and conferences.
4. Monitor campaign performance, evaluate effectiveness, quantify ROI, and optimize future projects accordingly.
5. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales managers to develop account-based marketing campaigns.
6. Utilize Salesforce.com and Pardot to monitor opportunities, advance their status, and review/report on project outcomes.
7. Analyze customer journey and experience to suggest improvements that enhance lead conversions through digital tools and applications.
8. Maintain a professional image and accurate portrayal of business strategies in all customer interactions.
9. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all company product lines, with in-depth knowledge of the supported business segment.
10. Create synergistic marketing programs across product and business unit lines.
11. Identify trends and insights to optimize spend and campaign performance.
12. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline.
* Experience in marketing or customer service.
* Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Digital marketing experience.
* Resourceful and self-motivated.
