About The Role

As Stock Processing Assistant, you will ensure the integrity of stock data and transaction records for all spirit movements to, on and from site. You will also assist in the validation and transfer stock identification data to warehouse personnel. In addition, you will ensure compliance with HMRC requirements in handling and movement of all spirit.

Main Responsibilities

* Verify the inventory reported in vats.
* Document receipts & dispatches of casks & tankers.
* Generate new fillings.
* Maintain up to date cask stock locations.
* Guarantee compliance with Customs and Excise regulations for receipt, handling, and dispatch of spirit.
* Organise and upkeep all documentation and records to ensure readiness for audits and compliance both internally and at third party sites.
* Ensure the accuracy of inventory data, including assisting in identifying and resolving any issues.
* Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders, including pertinent regulatory bodies such as HMRC.
* Collaborate across departments such as warehousing, process, quality, and maturation team

About You

Personal Profile

* Capable of effectively collaborating within a small team environment.
* Initiative-taking individual with ability to work independently.
* Effective communication abilities and adept interpersonal skills.
* Eager to learn, adaptable, and competent in systems such as Microsoft office.
* Mindset focused on continual improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous demonstrated practical experience in Stock Processing role or relevant vocational qualification, e.g., NVQ is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
