We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
* Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
* Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts.
Qualifications
* Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for enthusiastic candidates.
* Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain a hygienic work environment.
* Strong serving skills with the ability to create a positive customer experience.
* Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders.
