Vacancy: Casual Lettings Assistant
Ellowes Hall School, part of the Invictus Education Trust, is looking for a Casual Lettings Assistant. The role is based in Dudley, West Midlands and is available to start as soon as possible.
Contract Details
* Casual hours – minimum 20 hours per week
* Pay: Salary Grade 4 / SCP 5 – £13.26 per hour
* Starting date: ASAP
Working Hours
Lettings operate during the following hours (you will be scheduled to work one evening shift, one weekend shift and one full weekend shift pattern. You may also be called to cover other team members as required.)
* Monday to Friday: 3:30 pm – 10:00 pm
* Saturday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
* Sunday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Responsibilities
* Assist the Lettings Officer with the day‑to‑day delivery of Facilities Hire.
* Support the sports activity programmes and general maintenance/care of all school equipment and facilities.
* Work with the Site Team to deliver lettings and general maintenance tasks.
* Provide courteous, friendly and professional customer service to let users.
* Promote health & safety standards and cleanliness of letting facilities.
* Maintain accurate records and complete any required paperwork.
Experience & Skills
* Understanding of sports, leisure/recreation and associated user groups.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* Reliable, punctual with excellent attendance and high reliability.
* Flexible approach to working patterns and job tasks.
* Demonstrated commitment to health & safety, cleanliness and the school grounds.
* Previous experience in a school or education setting or a similar role is desirable but not essential.
