Nissan Formula E Team has been competing in motorsport and the FIA Formula E World Championship for many years and is looking for a Development Tests Performance Engineer to contribute to the team's development.
Your responsibilities:
1. Performance analysis and reporting to follow up on development track tests or DIL events.
2. Active role in the validation and integration of performance items within the embedded software.
3. Developing software tools to support the Performance Group and the development program.
4. Correlation activities, including follow-up of vehicle model and system correlation in the DIL post-development test sessions.
5. Participate in simulator and/or track test sessions as required.
6. Prepare car settings for simulator or track testing.
7. Ensure clear communication across all other engineering groups.
Your profile:
1. Proficiency in vehicle dynamics, performance engineering, and embedded software systems.
2. Experience with data analysis tools (MATLAB, Python, Excel) and developing software tools for performance testing.
3. Familiarity with simulation tools (DIL) and model correlation processes.
4. Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
6. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
7. Proficiency in English.
We are looking for a full-time person for our office located in Viry-Châtillon, France.
