I'm looking for a skilled video editor for one of my clients. This is ongoing work for the right person.
We need an editor who can create dynamic, retention-focused talking-head videos using techniques like:
Subject cutouts / masking (speaker layered over b-roll)
B-roll compositing and visual overlays
Keyframed motion (speaker scaling, repositioning, animated framing)
Punch-in / snap zooms to add emphasis and hide cuts
Kinetic text / animated captions and callouts
Motion graphics accents (boxes, highlights, UI-style elements, etc.)
Clean, tight jump cuts and pacing edits
Content will mostly be:
YouTube long-form videos
Podcast/interview edits (talking head, sometimes multi-cam)
Short-form clips for Reels, Shorts, TikTok
Website videos (less special effects than social videos).
YouTube thumbnails
We already have reference videos for the exact style we want (Hormozi / Iman Gadzhi–style dynamic edits). You'll be expected to match this style closely and help improve it where appropriate.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience editing YouTube and social media content
Comfortable with masking/rotoscoping, layered compositing, and motion graphics
Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and retention editing
Can handle thumbnails (or at least collaborate on them)
Reliable communication and consistent turnaround times
Bonus points if you:
Have edited podcasts or interview-style content before
Understand YouTube retention and short-form optimization
Proactively suggest improvements instead of just following instructions

Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 30 hours per week.
