Service Advisor required in Sudbury, Suffolk. Our automotive client is actively seeking an experienced Service Advisor to maintain and look after the customers that flow through their service department in Sudbury. This Service Advisor role is with a well-established family run automotive company, they have been successfully trading to the local area for a significant number of years and are well regarded in the area. Day to day the role of a Service Advisor will be working front of house greeting the customers that come in to have their vehicles serviced or repaired, booking in vehicles, upselling additional products to customers i.e. air-con recharge, tyres, oils etc., keeping the customer updated on the progress of their vehicle, invoicing and collecting payment from them when they return to collect their vehicle. It will be down to the front-of-house team members and you to ensure the smooth flow of customers through the department. Details & Benefits of the Service Advisor role: A competitive basic salary of up to £30,000 p.a. Profit share is divided among employees, which equals an average of £2,000 p.a. Good opportunity for upselling products, which can equate to £4,000 p.a. on top of the basic. Plus, there is opportunity to sell service plans at £15 per plan sold. Full-time hours during the week, starting at 8.00 am and finishing at 6.00 pm. No Weekends worked with this Company What will your day look like as a service advisor? Book MOTS, services, and repair work for customers. Advising customers about their warranty cover. Upsell parts and accessories that will be of benefit to customers. Informing customers of turnaround times and maintain communication throughout their car being in the garage. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of success as a Service Advisor from within the Motor Trade, be friendly and interact well with their customers, as well as maximise upsell opportunities.
