Overview
Senior Lecturer in Counselling Psychology role at Centre for International Development and Training (CIDT). The Psychology department is recruiting for this position. You will teach counselling psychology to undergraduate and postgraduate students, contribute to curriculum development, engage in scholarly activity and research, and mentor staff and students pursuing careers in counselling psychology.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality education and training to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
* Contribute to curriculum development and participate in scholarly activity and research.
* Provide mentorship to staff and students pursuing careers in counselling psychology.
* Engage with the wider team to enhance student experience and department performance and development.
* Contribute to the student experience and support academic and professional development within the department.
Qualifications
* Doctorate degree (PhD or equivalent).
* HCPC registered practitioner in counselling psychology (or clinical) and psychotherapy, or be eligible for registration within an agreed timeframe.
* Proven track record of teaching counselling psychology at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
* Energy, enthusiasm and commitment to student success and professional practice integration.

* Location: City Campus in Wolverhampton (face-to-face teaching).
* Employment type: Full-time (1.0 FTE) or as agreed (time schedule details to be stated in application).
* Based on campus with requirement to be on campus throughout the week.
