We’relooking for a Strategic Performance PlanLeadto help shapeWater Recyclingplans,todeliverperformance across our operational and regulatory commitments. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys creating clarity from complexity and wants to influence long-term outcomes for our customers, environment, and region.
In this role, you will lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of strategic performance plans, ensuring clear connections between goals, interventions, and measurableoutcomes.You’llwork closely with operational, planning,programme, and insight teams tomaximisevalue, embed outcome-focused thinking, and supportstrategic, data-driven decision-making.
Whatyou'llbe doing
1. Developing and documenting performance plans including targets, success measures, assumptions, risks, and opportunities
2. Developing andmaintainingStrategic Benefit Mapsto understand the drivers of performance and the impact of intervention options
3. Building andmaintainingperformance forecast models
4. Conducting scenario modelling to support senior leadership decision-making
5. Reviewing business cases to ensure robust success measures and outcome alignment
6. Facilitating cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement
7. Championing benefitrealisationand performance measurement capabilities across Water Recycling
Whatdoes it take to be a Strategic Performance Plan Lead
8. Strong understanding of performance frameworks, measures, and planning approaches
9. Experience developing strategic plans and communicating complex information clearly
10. A collaborative, relationship-focused approach to problem solving
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
12. Logical, analytical mindset with the ability to create clarity from ambiguity
13. Confidence working across diverse teams to influence strategic thinking
