Whilst your primary role will be to support the marketing of four UK hotels, there will be further opportunities to diversify into other areas of the business.

About the role:
We are looking for a passionate marketing manager to help raise brand awareness and position Sutton Hotel Collection and that of our four individual hotels (The Francis Hotel in Bath, The Castle Hotel in Windsor, The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences and The Queens Hotel in Cheltenham). You will develop and promote the brand, and drive sales through creative brand and tactical campaigns, website development, working with the rest of the team and our extended marketing team to create and execute campaigns.
You will also collaborate very closely with the rest of the commercial team, the general managers and the local hotel teams to maximise their local marketing needs and support them .
Your role as marketing manager will include:
Owning and executing the campaign activity plan across MICE and leisure.
Ensuring all individual leisure and MICE hotel marketing is aligned with the wider marketing and business strategy and fits in with the brand positioning.
Overseeing key website development projects and working alongside the marketing communications executive to ensure that website projects are delivered on time and on budget and that content is regularly updated.
Developing and creating the tactical, leisure and MICE campaign calendar, creating the campaign ideas and bringing them to life across all marketing channels.
Seeking out and co-ordinating MICE and leisure partnership ideas to increase the reach of the brand to new audiences.
You will manage key consumer partnerships across the collection including Pride of Britain, Conde Nast and Britains Finest.
Having an interest in data driven marketing campaigns, understand guest profiling, data segmentation and targeting techniques for email marketing.
Contributing to the social media plan to ensure campaigns are correctly marketed to the right channels and audiences.
You will manage the brand LinkedIN profiles to ensure MICE and business messages are effectively communicated.
Working alongside the sales team to create compelling sales tools and campaign messages, managing their requests to drive MICE, corporate and group leisure revenue.
Co-ordinating our attendance at trade shows including BNC, CHS and other shows as required.
Updating B2B third party websites including Cvent, VenueDirectory, Ensemble and other channels as and when required.
You will measure all of your activity based on a set of agreed KPIs and quantify the impact on brand perception, audience and revenue that your activity has had.
What type of person are we looking for?
* You will have a minimum three years experience in a hospitality marketing role and currently be a marketing manager within a hospitality group, conference venue or leisure group.
* You will have a strong understanding of the hotel and restaurant sector and be an ambassador for the brand values.
* You will have experience in creating integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
* You will be really creative and have experience of developing ideas that challenge the norm.
* You will be a kind-hearted person and care for your colleagues, the brand and the local communities we work in. You will be a team player.
* You will be confident, take pride in your marketing communications, be able to articulate your plan and ideas to multiple stakeholders and have a very keen eye for detail.
* You will stay true to the brand and to yourself creating ideas and campaigns that reflect the vision and aspirations of the stakeholders.
* You will naturally be inquisitive and want to stay on top of trends to create campaigns for our business pillars that differentiate us from our competitors.
* You will be creative, flexible and adaptive in an industry that is incredibly fast-paced.
* You will be ambitious and show an interest in the results driven from your campaigns to add real value to the brand.
* You will have experience of working with hotel systems such as PMS, event systems and marketing systems such as CMS, CRM and third party content platforms.
* You will be organised. This is a really varied and busy position, being able to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders is a key part of this role.
This is a hybrid role which will require you to be onsite at hotels at least two-three days per week. It would suit someone who is based in either London, Bristol or along the M4 corridor.
