Our globally renowned client specializes in the design, manufacture and support of bespoke in vitro diagnostic solutions for supply throughout the world. They are seeking an experienced and self-motivated multi-skilled Field Service Engineer to provide installation, service, repair and technical support of automated laboratory equipment for Clinical and Industrial markets in the Swindon/Oxfordshire region of the UK.
After in-house training, the successful candidate will perform Installation, Planned Preventative Service, Reactive Repair and Technical Support in customer-facing environments including hospitals, laboratories and major FMCG clients. The role includes managing vehicle stock inventory and ensuring all activities are completed on time with proper documentation in line with engineering and service department requirements.
Ongoing training will be provided, and you may be required to attend external courses to maintain knowledge levels and ensure high standards of service. You should stay up to date with industry developments to keep pace with technological advancements. You may also assist with project work and provide customer on-call support as part of the Service Team rota, while complying with all relevant company policies, industry regulations and Health and Safety requirements.
To be considered for this Field Service Engineer role, you should live in or around the Oxford area, hold a full UK driving licence, and be qualified to at least ONC level or above in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, with 3+ years of experience in a comparable service or maintenance environment. Laboratory or medical equipment experience is advantageous, and you should demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

* Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations, including Health and Safety and SSOW on site.
Qualifications
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region.
* Qualification to at least ONC level or above in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
* 3+ years of experience in a comparable service or maintenance environment; laboratory or medical equipment experience is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
