Join our team and work with a range of products including Sunseeker, Princess, Williams Jet Tenders, ECB Spas, and more. You will be responsible for reading and understanding lay-up drawings, applying laminating skills according to specifications, and querying any errors or changes observed during work.
You may be required to interchange between Composites and GRP sites based on workload demands in the relevant departments.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Prepare moulds for gel application.
2. Read and understand lay-up specifications.
3. Apply gel coat.
4. Perform laminating processes such as wet-lay, infusion, vac-bagging, pre-preg, or RTM.
5. Use hand tools effectively.
6. Identify laminating defects.
7. Utilize core materials and bonding pastes.
8. Release simple moulds.
9. Use and control patterns and jigs.
10. Work with various fabrics, including CSM and cloths in dry and pre-preg formats.
11. Maintain basic housekeeping duties.
12. Record daily work hours accurately.
13. Use PPE correctly.
14. Take accountability for your work.
Required Key Skills & Qualifications:
* Attention to detail and a methodical approach.
* Good teamwork and communication skills.
* Thorough understanding of GRP laminating and related processes, including trimming and grinding.
* Knowledge of quality assurance processes.
* At least 2 years of experience in the Marine, Aerospace, Automotive, or other quality-driven industries is preferred.

Starting salary from £15.68 per hour (£32,614 per annum). Benefits include 22 days holiday, dental cover after 1 year of service, and hours from 07:00 to 16:30, with regular overtime paid at time and a half.
