Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in communal areas of blocks of flats in Teignmouth.
We require 9 hours per week which could be spread over 2 or 3 days.
Jobs are paid at a fixed number of hours regardless of the time (i.e. measured work) it takes to complete the job and thus pay works out greater than NMW.
Responsibilities
* Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, mainly communal areas of flats which includes communal facilities such as a lounge, kitchen and toilets.
* Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped as required.
* Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain recycling protocols.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
* Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.
* Follow established health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning tasks.
Experience
* Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Demonstrated customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction.
