Teaching Assistant
£89-£95 per day (Paid PAYE)

A nurturing and friendly two-form entry Primary school in Barking and Dagenham are looking to welcome talented Teaching Assistants to their team in September 2025.
With the school having an already proven track record in providing an outstanding provision for SEND, they will be opening a new provision for ASC children in conjunction with an already established and dedicated Speech and language hub.
Classroom Assistants here are ‘go-getters’. The SENDCO has worked hard to build a team of committed and able support staff, willing to be flexible and often support outside of their remit. By way of return, the leadership team are understanding and respectful of their team.
The school are excited to hire new staff to be based predominantly within the EYFS, to support the new intake of children with additional needs. The Classroom Assistant would need to have experience of supporting children with ASC, sight impairment, and would need to have experience of using PECS, Makaton and other relevant communication tools.
Working hours here are (Apply online only) with a 45 minute break in total. The school is accessible from both Dagenham Heathway and Dagenham East train stations.
Requirements
The desired Classroom Assistant will have;
Experience of supporting children within a formal learning environment
Previous experience of supporting children and young adults within the care sector
A fully enhanced DBS registered to the update service, along with 2 professional references.
