No Experience? Just Starting out? No problem! *Drivers need to be available for immediate start after completion of assessment* Roles Available: * HGV Class 1 - Nights Hours: * Nights - Across Sunday to Friday (weekends included) - 22:00pm - 03:00am starts Pay Rate: * Class 1 nights - £16.56 rising to £17.26 after 12 weeks Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate The role: * Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units. * Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. * Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck. * Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements: * Full UK driving license with Class 1 (category C&E). * Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. * No more than 6 points on license (minor offences only). * Full understanding of WTD legislation. * Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. * Excellent communication skills. * A safety-first mindset.
