As a
Copart Vehicle Image Damage Assessor, you will be responsible for preparing
engineer’s reports
on behalf of insurance companies. You will check all documents containing information on any physical damage, vehicle details, vehicle images, and other vital information, making necessary amendments as required. Your role includes conducting market research to identify the
market value of vehicles, considering factors such as mileage, previous damage, HPI data, and other relevant information. You will assign salvage categories following the ABI Code of Practice and company guidelines. You must adhere to our
Service Level Agreements
and follow established processes. Training on our internal report-writing systems will be provided. This is a
remote role, working from home, with occasional attendance at our Head Office or Operation Centre. Requirements: Membership or willingness to enroll in professional bodies such as MIMI, IAEA, or IRTE Familiarity with insurance claims procedures and claim information requirements Ability to interpret vehicle damage and use repair estimating systems Proven body shop estimating experience Knowledge of all types of vehicle damage and repair methods Understanding of VDA standards Experience with estimating and valuation tools like Glass’, CAP, Audatex, and HPI Knowledge of legal vehicle roadworthiness requirements under the Road Traffic Act Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Note:
