Work may include specialized packing tasks, cutting of offal to customer specifications. Use of OCM labelling scales and scanning operations.Main responsibilities:Pick, pack, weigh, scan all offal products (red and green offal) to set out plan requirementsUsing the OCM labelling scales with and labelling product with 100% accuracy and reporting any label issues to the Supervisor, Manager or a QALiaise with Offal Supervisor on daily/weekly requirementsWork with site Technical department to ensure compliance to site procedures and customer specificationsStock movement from one location to another so that the product is ready for dispatch to customersPlacing bags properly on the cryovac machine for sealingSealing blue plastic bags on the freezer lineTrim and cut offal products to meet customer requirements and specifications as neededCompleting assigned tasks in a timely manner to meet daily targetControl precision - The ability to adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle quickly and repeatedly to exact positionsReport any risks or any evidence of unsafe or out of specification product, equipment, packaging or raw materials, to a designated manager to enable the resolution of issues requiring immediate actionAny other duties as required by management and within the competency of the post holderRequirementsPrevious knife skills is desirableExperience within a factory environmentExtensive understanding of company's SOP's and customer specificationsConsistent approach and strong work ethicHigh attention to detailAbility to lift and move heavy objectsAble to work under own initiative and as part of a teamExperience within the Food IndustryGood communicationGood numeracy skillsAdaptable to change and production demandsBenefits31 days annual leave (after probation) No weekends Employee benefits platform Pension plan Christmas hamper Earn up to £500 with our refer a friend scheme On-site parking Cycle to work scheme Subsidised Canteen
