Role Overview: We are seeking a full-time tutor to join our specialised unit. This role is crucial in providing tailored support to students with SEN and managing challenging behaviour effectively. The position is initially temporary, with the potential to become permanent based on performance and fit. Key Responsibilities: Individualised support: Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring to students with SEN. Behaviour management: Implement and maintain effective behaviour management strategies. Adaptable teaching: Tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a cohesive support system. Progress monitoring: Track and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed. Requirements: Resilience: Ability to stay calm and composed in challenging situations. Behaviour management: Proven skills in managing and improving student behaviour. SEN awareness: Strong understanding of Special Educational Needs and effective support strategies.
