• £45,000 – £55,000 per annum DOE
• Manchester | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)
Our Manchester-based client is growing fast and investing heavily in their cloud and automation capabilities. They’re now looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to help shape and scale a modern, secure infrastructure that supports thousands of users every day. You’ll join a progressive tech environment that encourages innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
The DevOps Engineer will design and manage cloud platforms, automate delivery pipelines and enhance system reliability — making sure every deployment runs smoothly, securely and at speed.
Role Highlights
* Build efficient CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
* Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform modules for reusability and scalability
* Design, automate and maintain AWS infrastructure (Lambda/EC2/ECS/S3).
* Containerise and orchestrate applications with Docker.
* Working day-to-day with Linux systems.
* Provide a high level of Infrastructure support, troubleshooting complex issues as they arise
You Will Need
* Experience working with DevOps Tools such as Terraforms, Jenkins, Ansible.
* Strong knowledge of AWS services and Terraform configuration
* Experience with Linux infrastructures, CI/CD tools, scripting and automation
* Proficient in one or more scripting languages (Python, Powershell, Bash).
* Solid understanding of networking and core internet protocols.
