Quantity Surveyor Lisburn £45-55K
INFORM3 Recruitment is actively recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor for our client in the Lisburn area. As the QS you will ensure the project adheres to its budgets and remains value for money on a project-by-project basis.
To be successful in the role you will ideally be degree certified in a relevant subject, with at least 5 years’ commercial experience performing in a similar role within the construction sector.
Main Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of quantity surveying duties for assigned projects
* Preparing budget estimates/cost plans
* Preparing bills of quantities
* To ensure the timely submission of all relevant data required
* To assist the Construction Manager with other required duties
* Preparing costs for variations
* Producing monthly valuations
Qualifications, skills and experience:
* 5+ years of Quantity Surveying experience in the Construction Sector
* BSc in Quantity Surveying, similar level degree or vocational qualification
* A high level of negotiation skills.
* Excellent workload management skills
* Knowledge of construction contracts.
