Overview To support our growing number of product developments and strategic customer integrations, we aim to source an enthusiastic individual to lead and manage some of these projects. Having an established project manager and project management framework at Sensoteq, we are willing to train and mentor an aspiring project manager with a strong engineering background. This individual will work with the Project Management Team and the Operations Manager to monitor and control project timing, resource allocation and budget. They will interface with the engineering, operations, and sales teams to deliver successful development and integration projects. Interfacing directly with our customer base to maintain healthy commercial relationships is an important aspect of the job. This person should have excellent organisational and communication skills to manage project stakeholder requirements and reports. Regular interaction and negotiation with middle management should be expected. Sensoteq has an ambitious growth plan over the next 5 years. As part of the Operations Team, the individual will be expected to contribute to aspects of quality, supply chain, production, and customer service. The Role Plan, manage, coordinate, budget, and report internal and customer driven product development projects Manage strategic customer integrations and relationships Interface with supply chain, manufacturing, engineering and software teams to plan and deliver product launches Motivate and drive project teams to meet ambitious project targets and deliverables Report key project risks and status updates to key stakeholders regularly Contribute to and deliver project quotation packages for customer driven developments Manage short-term miniature projects e.g. fault analysis and reporting, change management, product certification, commercial launches Ensure process and product adherence with relevant quality management systems What you will need Experience working in engineering projects Experience in coordinating a multidisciplinary team Experience interfacing with key project stakeholders 5 years of relevant industrial experience Degree level qualification in engineering management, business or similar Desirable Criteria Project or General Management qualification Agile project development methodology training Proven track record of successfully delivering product development projects Proven experience of good client relationship management Desire and ability to lead others Analytical, process-driven mindset Good organisational skills Benefits: Private healthcare Enhanced family leave Performance Bonus Cycle scheme and wellbeing Group Life Assurance Service recognition Hybrid working
