Location: BS3, Bristol
A warm and welcoming primary school in the BS3 area of Bristol is looking for a flexible class teacher to provide PPA cover across the school from January. This would suit a teacher looking for 2 to 3 days per week, with regular work in one setting.
The school is lovely, supportive and nurturing, with a friendly staff team and well behaved pupils. They are looking for someone who can slot in smoothly, deliver engaging lessons and maintain clear routines in line with school policies.
The Role
- PPA cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 (depending on your experience and preference)
- Plan and deliver high quality lessons that follow the school curriculum and schemes of work
- Follow classroom routines and behaviour policies to ensure a calm, productive learning environment
- Mark work in line with school policy and provide feedback where required
- Work closely with class teachers and SLT to ensure continuity for pupils
- Flexible 2 to 3 days per week, agreed in advance with the school
What we are looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching in primary schools
- Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management
- Flexible, adaptable and happy to teach across different year groups
- Reliable and committed to providing high quality PPA cover
