Description
Evans Group, Inc.ofLebanon, NHis seeking to hire afull-time Staff Accountantto perform the function of Accounts Receivable and other important accounting duties for the organization. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Primary responsibility for Accounts Receivable, including entering payments, preparing invoices, balancing accounts and interacting with customers
* Be part of a team that rotates responsibility for daily pricing and billing
* Perform data capture, billing and maintenance for fuel customers and propriety charge accounts
* Reconcile various payments for retail sales from the retail store chain
* Import and post sales data from the retail accounting software into the Sage accounting system
* Assist with answering phones and handling incoming orders and requests
* File retail paperwork

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum of an Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* At least 3 years of work experience in accounting or related duties; emphasis in Accounts Receivable is desirable
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills and analytical skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Prior experience with accounting software and proficiency in Excel is required; knowledge of Sage accounting software is a plus
